Which CPR Course Should You Take?
Healthcare Workers
BLS For Healthcare Providers: This medical CPR class is for anyone working in a clinical and medical setting, including nursing students, medical students, hospital volunteers and dental workers.
Dental workers and EMS students are eligible for AHA CEU’s, CE’s and CME’s. (Continuing Education Units)
The General Public
CPR & First Aid: This CPR course is for everyone else (teachers, personal trainers, counselors, hotel staff, warehouse staff, churches, police officers, etc). You also have the option to take CPR or First Aid individually/separately.
Heartsaver Pediatric CPR & First Aid: This is for anyone working with infants or young children (day care center, school bus driver, etc).
In-Person Classes vs Online Classes
Save A Life CPR offers American Heart Association (AHA) online courses with in-classroom skills check. This is where you complete the online portion at your own pace and then come in for a quick skills test. Once registered you will need to complete the online course and select a date to come in for a skills check.
